Here is my situation, I still running Eastern Ruins but I only planted herbs and flowers and take care my animals. Herbs and flowers are easy because you don't have to harvest them yourself, you can just order the Herbal Garden to harvest them and set Forte to water them and you have more time for the wasteland game.
I planted strawberries, aparagus, turnips and potatoes. I knew some other gamers suggested to plant turnips but to me strawberries are the saver. I planted 90 squares of strawberries, 90 squares aparagus and I sowed 45 squares of soil for turnips and potatoes. I planted turnips twice and potatoes once. After the strawberries started the riped, I stopped planting turnips and potatoes since if you water your plants everyday you get strawberries everyday. Strawberries can be harvested a few times per plant and it's doing good and as for aparagus are due to I am just too lazy to replant turnips and potatoes. I finished this task at 21st of Spring and I started to plant around 3rd of Spring. Fast huh?? HAHA! Good luck guys~
